| New Trivium CD Announced
On October 10th, Trivium will release their third album The Crusade. Trivium is currently a co-headliner on this summer's Sounds of the Underground Tour and will announce a fall US headlining tour shortly. This winter the band will tour the world as direct and sole support to Iron Maiden.
Recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando, The Crusade was produced by Trivium and Jason Suecof. Says lead singer Matt Heafy, “As a band, you can either release the same album again, keeping the same number of people interested and not really branch out, or you can evolve. I feel that The Crusade is the next logical step in our evolution. We took one big step between the first two albums, but this time we’ve taken about ten huge leaps forward.” For the first time, other members of the group besides Heafy contributed songs to the album. Guitarist Corey Beaulieu wrote the music to “Unrepentant” and “Tread The Floods,” while bassist Paolo Gregoletto wrote the music to “The Rising” and “To The Rats” and co-wrote “Anthem (We are the Fire)” with Heafy.
Track listing for The Crusade: “Ignition” “Detonation” “Entrance of the Conflagration” “Anthem (We are the Fire)” “Unrepentant” “And Sadness Will Sear” “Becoming the Dragon” “To The Rats “This World Can’t Tear Us Apart” “Tread the Floods” “Contempt Breeds Contamination” “The Rising” “The Crusade”

| Me and my dad are in the initial planning stages of purchasing a vehicle and building it for competition drifting. For the most part we have been looking at the 240SX, some 280Zs, and a few other cars. We've found both a 280Z and a 240SX which we have been considering buying.. but then someone at my dads work mentioned he is selling his customised Chevy S-10 with a V-8 engine. I dont' know a lot of details at this point, including which V-8 it is. But from what I've been told by my dad the little truck is a monster. So we have been considering buying that instead, setting it up with a different suspension, and drifting it. Anyone who has driven a high powerful pickup knows that it is very easy to let the rear-end loose, so this seems pretty ideal for drifting if you ask me. But as far as I know (and I could be very wrong), it hasn't been done. So I am wondering if anyone has seen a truck at drifting competitions, and what opinions you guys might have on the matter. Our biggest worry at the moment is the suspension. Of course there are tons of ways to lower the truck, but in a sport where adjustable suspension is a must.. will we have any options? Another thought I have is whether the truck will be TOO prone to spinning, leading to many embarrasing 180s around the curves. The real question is whether this is a viable decision (buying the truck for this purpose), or if we should stick to the tried and true route (280z, 240SX). Your thoughts?
